We provide 15 hours free early education for two year and three year olds through government funding and these sessions enable children to develop their language, build relationships with their peers and provide the children with a foundation of learning within the EYFS to prepare them for school and life.
Our key-carer system enables us to ensure a planned curriculum tailored to the needs of an individual child. Our key-carers ensures that each individual child is supported on a day to day basis and aims to develop a bond with the child and help them to feel safe, protected and cherished while they are away from home.
We realise childcare is a difficult and important decision and our aim is to provide a happy safe secure stimulating and caring environment in which children can learn through play and discovery. We have an enthusiastic staff team who are dedicated to providing the best possible care for your child.
Our environments are designed to be stimulating, encourage the children to explore, take calculated risks and provide them with time and space to consolidate their learning. The indoor and outdoor environment is challenging and exciting and our planning takes into account children’s interests and enhancements are added each week to support their learning and development.
We recognise parents as the first educators for their children and work alongside them to support their child’s learning. We are always available to speak to parents/carers who may need advice, guidance or have any concerns with regards to their children.
Our new Out of School Club caters for 24 children aged 4 – 11 years who attend Ravensbury Primary School. We collect your child from their class and walk back to the club. Once we are back they are usually ready for a drink and a snack, so there are plenty of healthy options on offer for the children.
We provide a fun, exciting and safe environment with the staff ensuring that our children are happily entertained with lots of different activities, such as board games, arts and crafts and outdoor play. The Club is registered and regulated by OFSTED.
