Becky Brown – Nursery Manager
My name is Becky Brown and I started working for Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in August 2009. I am qualified with a Foundation degree in Early Years and Childhood studies, a Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Childcare and Education, Level 2 Team Leading, an NVQ in Management Level 3 and I have recently completed my Ba (Hons) in professional development in early years with Bolton University.
By completing these additional studies I will be able to further support my staff team through supporting each individual and their key-group with a wide range of learning activities and resources. I aim to ensure all children and their families have a happy and positive time on their journey through our nursery with Tiddlywinks and I will provide a warm welcome and stimulating learning environments for our children to grow and develop through their sessions.
Kathryn Evans – Deputy Nursery Manager
My name is Kathryn Evans and I started working with Tiddlywinks Day Nursery in September 2003. I have recently completed my Foundation Degree with the University of Bolton. I am looking forward to putting my new knowledge into practice and developing myself and the nursery. I am qualified with a Level 3 in Childcare, Learning & Development, NVQ level 2 in Team Leading, NVQ level 3 in Management and I am Paediatric First Aid qualified.
I began my Tiddlywinks career journey at our Hill Lane nursery in Blackley, working in the baby room and I have worked my way up through gaining promotions until I became a Deputy Manager in January 2009 and I moved to Tiddlywinks Ancoats nursery where I was the manager. After returning from maternity leave I wanted to focus on my own family life and joined the Tiddlywinks Hill Lane team in April 2019.
I enjoy supporting the team in providing a stimulating environment for the staff and children, creating opportunities for the children to learn and progress to their highest potential.
